Volunteers
Expressions of interest are sought from enthusiastic people for volunteer positions at Australian Dragon Boat Championship to be held at Victoria Harbor in Melbourne at Docklands. This is a wonderful opportunity to actively contribute to one of Australia’s fastest growing team sports. It is run under the auspices of the Australian Dragon Boat Federation and Dragon Boats Victoria.
The volunteer positions will assist with general event enquiries as well a range of activities from helping with merchandise; parking; traffic; lunch runners, supporting the smooth running of presentations to replenishing stocks, boat driving as well boat preparation and other things “that we haven’t yet thought of”.
Having a general knowledge of the sport is not essential but if you have a passion for being part of a team and a spirit of adventure along with a sense of humour and a positive outlook, then why not take advantage of this opportunity.
